Our Mission

The mission of Santas Stars is to ensure that “No Children or Families are Forgotten” during the Holiday Season.

Santa’s Stars was created in 2016 when we noticed that several of our smaller communities were being excluded from Holiday events in our region. Recognizing this, we wanted to make sure that these communities were included.

What We Do:

Shop with a First Responder: Each year Santa’s Stars teams up a child in need with a first responder.
Each child is given a $150 gift card to shop for themselves and their family.

Danica’s Pink Stars Award: Santa’s Stars with the help of local partners, identifies families that are in great need during the holiday season. The program is named in honor and in memory of our dear friend Danica Jane Taylor. Recipients are often families who have a member suffering from an illness that places them in a financial hardship. Danica’s Pink Star recipients are adopted by Santa’s Stars and provided gifts, groceries, and financial help during the holiday season.

Seattle Children’s Hospital: Santa’s Stars works with the Seattle Children’s Hospital Wenatchee Clinic to
buy gifts for patients being seen in the month of December.
